Belgian Pavillion at Airshow China
With about 650 exhibitors , more than 100,000 professional visitors and some 200,000 visitors during the public days, the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) is by far the most important international aerospace event in China and the only one with the official support from the Chinese authorities.
Airshow China 2014 has truly been a showcase for the booming Chinese aerospace industry : numerous projects are to be launched (eg. the creation of new aerospace and aviation industry parks in Zhuhai and other major cities), and C919, the first passenger plane completely developed and manufactured in China, will soon be commercialised.
China’s growing aerospace market has a lot to offer to the Belgian companies , most of which are specialised in a specific niche industry, ranging from software applications and avionics to composite materials, flight training devices, aircraft interior components, seals, wires and cables.
Any business contacts will be followed up in close coordination with the local FIT representatives, FLAG (Flemish Aerospace Group) and Skywin (Walloon aerospace cluster).
